HANG has free-standing aerial rigs which can be used indoors or outdoors on flat-ish ground. It is made from aluminium trilite. It is light weight and so suitable for placing on staging.

Rigging from existing architecture, indoor:
This is dependant on the building, however if there are exposed, steel I-beams in the ceiling, or other suitable architectural features, rigging may be possible using strops, clamps or welds. All rigging points need to be load tested to one tonne, or be certified as safe by an engineer. Aerialists may ask to see test certificates. Hang can give advice on the specific rigging requirements of your venue.

HANG can rig from trees; off the outside of buildings; under bridges; among ships rigging and from many other structures, again HANG can offer advise.
Health and Safety
The company take health and safety issues seriously and can provide a detailed risk assessment for all existing shows as well as a method statement for the construction of the free-standing rig. These may need to be adapted for different venues. Each site specific performance requires it's own individual risk assessment.
Loading
All rigging points must be load tested, and test certificates may be requested. Test weight will vary according to the use (i.e. static / dynamic load) and advice is sought from a qualified structural engineer when necessary. A test weight of 1 tonne is adequate for static aerial.
Equipment
Hang aerial equipment is all load tested and regularly checked and maintained.
Fire
Hang identify ignition sources and take action to reduce risk. We are aware of and perform in accordance with fire regulations for theatrical venues.
Performance skills
All performers are trained, rehearsed and perform within their ability.
Insurance
All members of Hang belong to Equity and are therefore covered as individuals by Equity standard insurance for performers. In addition the company have public and employers liability insurance to the value of five million pounds.
Police Checks
All company members involved in running workshops have enhanced CRB disclosure certificates less than 2 years old. Proof of these can be provided on request.
